The health care system in this country is a mess and needs to be revamped but the programs proposed by the democrats will bankrupt this nation. I have some ideas as to how we might fix this problem.

Strong Support for Our Space Program

Our space program has been one of the most consistent producers of knowledge and technology leaps in the world. Our exploriation of our universe is a very important effort that we should be supporting. In district 22 NASA provides us with highly paid highly skilled jobs that we desparately need.

Strong Support For Our Veterans

Our veterans have put our lives before their own in an effort to protect the freedoms that we enjoy in this country. They should be treated with the utmost respect and given the help that they need and deserve.

Strong Support For Our Troops And Their Families

The men and women serving in our armed forces today are making a sacrifice that is second to none to protect the freedoms that we enjoy in this nation. Regardless of ones poisition on any war the service men and women that answer the call deserve our respect and all the resource and protection that we can provide to them.

Strong National Defense Policy

A strong national defense policy has time and time again proven to be a deterient to agression and the basis for productive diplomatic talks. We need to promote a strong defense and I will work toward that end.

Being Responsible To Constituents

Politicians today have lost the meaning of serving the people of their district. It is my desire to return to the days of the congress member reflecting the opinions, desires, and needs of the people of the district that they represent

Responsible Immigration

Our immigraton policy is a disaster. We need to stop the uncontrolled invasion of illegal aliens and develop a system of controlled immigration that is fair to everyone that wants to come to this country.

Responsible Energy

We are the greatest nation in the world and we have some of the best and brightest minds in the world living in this country. It is time to put them all together to solve the problem of the worlds future energy needs

Create Jobs By Helping Small Business

The stimulus package has ignored the samall business of this nation. We need to focus stimulus dollars on the sector of the economy that will generate the most jobs and get Americans back to work. I pledge to work on easing credit for small businesses and to reduce the bureaucracy that government imposes on small business.

Responsible Fiscal Policy

We have out of control spending at the federal level. We need people with the ability to understand the true cost of legislation, the ability to review and understnd the budget and spending, and Congressmen that can hold the government entities responsible for the proper spending of those taxpayer resources.
